When N95 masks are used at a place of work, they must follow OHSA regulations CAN/CSA Z94.4-18 standard and all wearers must be fit tested. N95 masks only are to be used with one patient and must be discarded between patients.
Our N95 Mask Fit Testing program offers on site Qualitative Respirator Fit Testing (QLFT) for N95 respirators and half face masks based on OHSA regulations. This PPE program meets the requirement for respirator fit testing based on the current Canadian CSA-Z94 standard (use and care of respirators).
In addition to fit testing services, our certified respiratory specialists are able to provide with approved masks for fit testing to participants for a fee. Please note that respirator fit certification is awarded for a specific make and model of N95 mask.
